Just a few things.
- We have three field trips this week and a number of children are still missing their permission slips. Please return them as soon as possible because children without written permission are not allowed to leave the school and will have to stay with another class.
- We will be bowling on Wednesday morning and are expected to take the pledges/ pledge sheets with us. Please give them to Mrs. Unsworth by Wednesday morning.
- We are skating at MacArthur Park on Thursday morning and should be there by 10:00 if you are joining us. We will be given a change room to use to put our things in and will put our skates on there. The children should not be on the ice without an adult supervising. Skates should be in backpacks and all children MUST have a helmet or they will not be permitted to go on the ice. Please send snow pants as well because sitting/falling on the ice is cold, and an extra pair of socks in case we need a change.
- Mrs. Unsworth is in the final stages of her practicum and has been teaching 100%. Because the children are still constantly coming to me for everything, I am going to try and spend less time inside our classroom this week and next. Rest assured that I will be in the school and checking in often. This way, Mrs. Unsworth gets the full experience of being responsible in a classroom.
