Under a revised order from the Provincial Health Officer (PHO), the return to school after the holidays is changed so that:
- Public and independent schools can implement enhanced safety measures for safe in-person learning
- Public health can learn more about the Omicron variant in our communities and ensure the right measures are in place to keep students and staff safe
- Students whose parents work in the health care system
- Students with exceptional needs
