I'm sorry this post is so late. I have been trying to get it up since Thursday afternoon but the website wasn't cooperating. If you have been listening to the news you will have heard that there has been movement between BCTF and BCPSEA at the table. Yay! We will still be out of school on Monday but there is hope that we will not have seen the last of the school year yet. Keep your ears open for further news. A BIG thank you to the students and parents who have visited us on the picket line. We truly do appreciate it!
PS I love this time of year, when the children begin to write independently. Thought I would share some of our musings with you from the 'I Wonder' chart and 'Classroom News' board.
- Jersey shared a catapult she made, Thomas had a metal man, Alysa showed us a travel hair brush and Ally had an elephant toy.
- All books, library and Take Home books, are due back at the school. The school will be open during regular hours on Monday and you are welcome to take them to the office.
- Thanks to all the dads, grandpas, uncles etc that were able to join us on Thursday. We loved having them visit us in our classroom!
