- We visited the library for the first time this week. The children will each bring home one book every week. Please return by Monday in its special bag for a new one.
- Thank you for your donations to the Terry Fox Run.
- Monday, Sept. 25 is an NI day which means there is no school for students.
- Wednesday, Sept. 27 is our first fire drill practice as a school. We have been practicing in preparation.
- October lunch orders went home this week and are due to the office by Wednesday, Sept. 27.
- Thursday, Sept. 28 is Rivers Day and BEST will be holding all classes at the river. More info closer to the date.
- Friday, Sept. 29 is Orange Shirt Day. Your child is welcome to participate.
- Saturday, Sept. 30 is our National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. There will be no school on Monday, Oct. 2 in lieu.
- PAC pizza orders for October went home this week and are due back by Monday, Oct. 9. Pizza lunch occurs the following Friday.
- School supply fees are due into the office if you haven't already sent them.
- Please send a water bottle with your child's name on it in their packs every day.
- Please send utensils with your child in their lunch kits. Make sure they are ones you are willing to maybe not get back although we encourage the children to reuse even plastic utensils.
- Please do NOT send toys or items from home to school. These things get lost or broken and cause issues and often crying in our learning spaces.
- Although we are not in cold/flu season yet, it is coming. If your child is exhibiting symptoms of any kind they must be kept home. Thank you.
- BEST is looking for lunchtime supervisors and PAC members. Contact the office if you are interested.
