One more week of May! The weather has been hot and promises to continue to be so through next week. There are some trees on the playground but many children choose to run and play on the field and equipment where there is very little shade. A hat, some sunglasses and a slather of sunscreen before leaving in the morning will help keep Team Awesome protected in the heat and sun.
- Shaye showed us a puppy stuffie and Emilia had a favourite water bottle.
- Mrs. Unsworth will be in the afternoons of Tuesday, May 26 and Wednesday, May 27 as I welcome in the new kindergarteners during orientation.
- There is an assembly Wednesday, May 27 at 9:00.
- Permission slips for our airport field trip are due Wednesday, May 27 as well.
- Our Fresh Air Friday on Friday, May 29 will be at the school, participating in Jump 4 Heart activities with the rest of the school.
- The Innovation Day date has been changed from Friday, May 29 to Thursday, June 11.
- BEST will host a Book Fair in the library Monday, June 1 to Wednesday, June 3. Check posters for specific times.

- We are still looking for some frog eggs to observe in our classroom. If you have some, or know where we could get some, please let me know.
- The caterpillars are here and growing rapidly. We should have cocoons next week.
