What a beautiful day! We graph the weather every day as part of our math activities and today was the first sunny day since we have been back to school. We made use of it by spending part of the day outside pushing the Earth Ball around the field with Mrs. Farber's class. Mr. Bowser arranged it and has promised to bring it back in the spring. Yay!
- Aidan shared a pink 'eagle' feather, Riley told us about an airplane she built that ws actually a rocket, Andon had some Legos and Sam showed us a photo album.
- Next Friday, Jan. 23 is another Fresh Air Friday.
- Monday Jan. 26 to Friday Jan. 30 is Family Literacy Week and there will be various activities at the school and around town.
- Hats Off To Books is Friday Jan. 30- wear a hat to school. We will also host a school-wide Drop Everything And Read session that day.
- ABC Family Literacy Day is Saturday Jan. 31 at Henry Grube Education Centre. They will have a variety of family activities from 9am-12.
- BEST will host a book swap the week of Feb. 9. Stay tuned for details.
- A reminder that we will be skating towards the end of February and will need parent helpers.
