The Kamloops Central Business Improvement Association and Thompson Rivers University are excited to announce the 43rd annual Santa Parade on Sunday, November 26, 2023.
This year’s theme is A World of Celebration! It's an ode to holiday celebrations from around the world and ties into TRU World’s 40th anniversary of international education.
Thompson Rivers University is thrilled to once again be the title sponsor for the event.
"Our vibrant community of international students, esteemed alumni, and dedicated staff and faculty have left a lasting mark on Kamloops and its global connections,” said Baihua Chadwick, TRU Vice-President International. "As we come together for the 43rd annual Santa Parade, let us embrace the spirit of A World of Celebration and show the richness of cultures that make our city shine.”
Can't make it to the parade? Catch the Downtown Kamloops Santa Parade Livestream, powered by Ninth Lab. Join your hosts Alexandra Eaket and Bryce Herman for an evening full of holiday spirit. The livestream will be broadcast on Downtown Kamloops’ Facebook Page and YouTube channel beginning at 4PM on November 26th. You will also be able to watch the livestream at the Paramount Theatre during the parade.
Time: Parade festivities will begin at 3:40 p.m. on Sunday, November 26th with a special “wake-up Santa,” followed by the parade at 4:00 p.m.
Location: Starting at 2nd Ave & St. Paul Street, down 2nd Avenue to Victoria Street and east along Victoria Street ending at 6th Avenue
