- Please return the library books by next Tuesday at the latest for exchange.
- The set of Frozen headphones have been claimed. Thanks!
- If you have not sent a set of headphones with your child, please do so as we are gearing up to begin our learning programs on the tablets.
- Please return your child's Take Home zipper bag to school with them each morning. Any items that need to be sent to the office can be returned in the bag.
- The Sharing activity for October was sent Wednesday- it is a pumpkin. Look for it in zipper bags. Return it when it is finished please. We are still sharing September's All About Me posters.
- Scholastic flyers are available online monthly. October's is available here. All Scholastic orders will be done online whenever you like and orders sent directly to your home. Our class code is RC210022.
- You may have noticed on the school lunch order form it mentions 'Snack'. Those items come at lunch time with the main lunch item- like add-ons- so a recess snack will be needed on the days you have ordered lunch for your child.
- Tuesday, Oct. 5, is individual photo day. Thankfully the Kindergarteners are often first so we can stay clean and spiffy >mostly< for our pictures.
- Monday, Oct. 11, is Thanksgiving and therefore a holiday. Yum!
- We will have our second fire drill on Friday, Oct. 15. They did very well on our first one.
- Tuesday, Oct. 19, retakes for unsatisfactory individual photos as well as whole class pictures will happen.
- Wednesday, Oct. 20, will be an early 12:30 dismissal day for progress reports. We will advise what those will look like closer to the date.
- Friday, Oct. 22, is an N.I. day so Team Awesome will be home while we learn how to be better teachers.
- Friday, Oct. 28, is our first lock down drill. We will prepare the children the previous day as we find too much advance notice causes them to fret and worry unnecessarily.
- Team Awesome will participate in Halloween and pumpkin activities on Friday, Oct. 29.
- Although we are not in cold/flu season yet, it is coming. If your child is exhibiting symptoms of any kind they must be kept home. A box of tissues for our learning spaces would be welcome.
