- Please send library books back for exchange by Tuesday.
- We had so much fun testing our egg drop contraptions this week. Thank you for participating! We will not be having a Family Project for June due to time constraints.
- Friday, May 19 is a Pro-D day and Team Awesome will be home.
- DeVry Flowers/Plant Fundraiser orders will be ready for pick up at BEST on May 19th.
- Monday, May 22 is Victoria Day so enjoy the long weekend!
- School lunch orders for June are due to the office by Wednesday, May 24.
- We will be participating in a gold panning session with Yukon Dan on Friday, May 26.
- Friday, May 26 is a possible Fresh Air Friday. We will be doing activities outside at BEST. Please dress your child to get (very) wet/ dirty/ muddy- if things go according to plan!
- Our fieldtrip to Paul Lake with the Learn 2 Fish program will be Monday, May 29. Info will come early next week. We need parent helpers please,
- Don't forget Team Awesome's short performance (15 mins) entitled "Aquarium" on Tuesday, May 30 at 11:15am in the school gym and you are invited!
- BEST will participate in Jump Rope 4 Heart activities outside the afternoon of Friday, June 1. Dress for the weather, send a water bottle.
- BEST will host a Bike Rodeo for all students Friday, June 2. Info will come closer to the date.
- Our last fire drill for the year will happen on Monday, June 5.
- PAC pizza orders are due back by Monday, June 5 with lunch delivered on Friday, June 9.
- Permission forms for our fieldtrips have been coming home. Please ensure all of the necessary information has been filled in before returning them. Please don't forget to check the box to tell us if you are able to help.
- Get your orders for BEST yearbooks to the office.

- Please have Team Awesome read any little paper books that come home (approximately 1 per week) multiple times for practice/ fluency. Thank you.
- Sight words we are learning right now: are, her, him, how, name, out, this, when, your. Please feel free to practice at home.
- Scholastic flyers are available here monthly. They can be done online and sent directly to the school then we give them to your child. Our class code is RC210022.
