- Monday April 25 is an NI day. Team Awesome will be enjoying a long weekend.
- The May Sharing Project date has been changed to Wednesday May 18. We will be sharing all projects on that day so if your child would like to participate they must be returned by then. We will be sending home a note with details by next week.
- We have booked a number of fieldtrips for June and are very excited! We will post info and send forms closer to the dates. You can check them out using the calendar link at the top of this page.
- The next SD 73 Parent Engagement Session on April 28 will provide tips on ways Indigenous parents can get involved with their school and how the SD73 Indigenous Family Voices for Education can support them.

Of the land that isn’t currently covered by ice on Earth, livestock take up 26 percent of it with another 4 percent dedicated solely to growing livestock feed. That’s 30 percent of potentially habitable land worldwide dedicated solely to animal agriculture! So what if this year, to celebrate Earth Day, we committed to eating a bit less meat?
