- Scholastic book orders came home and are due Thursday, Feb. 13. Don't forget if you make an online order of $30 or more you can get a free book ($7) using the code CLIFFORD.
- Friday. Feb. 14 is Valentine's Day and a post with information will come out tomorrow. Please have your child fill in their name beside 'From' on valentine cards but not the 'To' portion. It makes it so much easier to hand them out.

- Friday, Feb. 21 is Fresh Air Friday. Please dress your child for the weather.
- We are required to have an informal report in February and to that end I have been doing some academic assessments with Team Awesome. Sometime in the next two weeks or so, either at drop off or pick up, I will snag you to go over your child's results. If I am unable to meet with you I will email to let you know my assessment results are coming home and we can arrange to meet if needed.
- February Family Projects are due whenever they are done. Have fun!
- Don't forget to download any of the pictures or videos you love that I share with you via Google Photos onto your own devices so you will always have them.
- The February sight words are: come, did, have, get, love, of, said, very, will, yes. Please feel free to practice them at home. We will practice them regularly in class.
- BEST monthly newsletter can be found here.
It was too good to be true. You knew. I knew. We all knew. When I put my winter boots back in the downstairs closet until next year, it really was with the best of intentions though. I had been tripping over them for a week and was sure to hurt myself if I didn't move them. But there was that teeny tiny voice in my brain telling me to just set them aside because it was far too early in the winter for there not to be more snow coming. The thought was so distasteful I pushed it away and refused to acknowledge it. Totally ignored it. I tried to will the weather into cooperating with my wishes, and I'm sure some of yours' too. All of which combined to make me very irritated on Monday evening when I had to stomp back downstairs to bring up my winter boots. I am hoping to make the reverse trip once again very shortly, but with a lighter step. After all- the groundhog predicted spring was on its way and we know we can count on him.
