- We will explore some Groundhog Day activities on Thursday, Feb. 1 (even though its Feb. 2).
- Friday, Feb. 2 is a Pro D day and Team Awesome will be home. Enjoy!
- Wednesday, Feb. 7 we will be skating at 9:00 at McArthur Park Arena. Please ensure your child has both skates and a helmet. See you there!
- Wednesday, Feb. 7 is Global School Play Day and Team Awesome will be participating. More information will be posted soon.
- Tuesday, Feb. 13 Mrs. Fennel will be joining us to teach us about the Medicine Wheel.
- Wednesday, Feb. 14 is Valentine's Day. More info will be posted closer to the date.

- Please have Team Awesome read any little paper books that come home (approximately 1 per week) multiple times for practice/ fluency. Thank you.
- Sight words we are learning in class: be, big, can, it, little, me, on, us, with, we. Please feel free to practice together at home.
- Newsletters are paperless and can be found on the BEST website at best.sd73.bc.ca.
- If your child is exhibiting illness symptoms of any kind they must be kept home. Thank you.
