- Please send utensils with your child in their lunch kits. Make sure they are ones you are willing to maybe not get back although we encourage the children to reuse even plastic utensils.
- Please do NOT send toys or items from home to school. These things get lost or broken and cause issues and often crying in our learning spaces.
- Although we are not in cold/flu season yet, it is coming. If your child is exhibiting symptoms of any kind they must be kept home. Thank you. Don't forget to send a box of tissues.
- A reminder to send a pair of headphones for your child to use with the iPads. Please put them in a labelled ziplock bag to help keep them organized. Earbuds are often not the best choice.
‘My smart little sister says that people are wrong when they talk about how you need to be brave to get out of your comfort zone, travel, and see things. The travel and perspective–the escapism, really–are a privilege. The real courage is needed at home, where the ordinary things don’t change unless you work to make them so, where you face old demons and new challenges, and where you can’t just get on a plane to the next destination.’ –The Yellow House
