- Please return library book by Monday in its special bag so we can get a new one.
- The PAC cookie dough fundraiser orders were due back today and order pick up is Friday, Dec. 15. Thank you for supporting our PAC.
- BEST PAC is sponsoring a Chopped Leaf lunch for students and orders are due back by Tuesday, Nov. 29 with lunch delivered on Friday, Dec. 8.
- There will be a theme day every Friday in December and Friday, Dec. 1 is Hat Day. Team Awesome is welcome to participate or not, as they like.
- Monday, Dec. 4 is a Pro D day and students will be home.
- BEST is offering a Santa photo opportunity on Monday, Dec. 4 from 1pm-3pm. $10 per student, $15 per family.
- Pick up your Purdy's order from BEST on Tuesday, Dec 5, 2:00-3:00.
- We are doing an activity Wednesday, Dec. 6th that requires a box of some sort for each child but have not managed to collect enough yet. If you have an empty box of some sort (cereal, cracker, tea, kleenex etc.- nothing huge) would you please send it. Thanks for the help!
- Friday, Dec. 8 is Red & Green Day. Team Awesome is welcome to participate or not, as they like.
- Friday, Dec. 8 is a possible Fresh Air Friday. A notice will be posted on our exit door. Please dress your child appropriately.
- Once again the PAC will be sponsoring the impressive Christmas Basket Raffle! Our class basket theme is Crafts. Families donate items based on the theme. Craft items are requested by Dec. 12th and the last day to buy a basket ticket will be announced. PAC will choose the winning tickets shortly after. Thank you for your donations to our class basket. Good luck!
- Christmas gift idea? We have scheduled skating sessions in January/ February. If your child does not have skates they are welcome to borrow them from the school but the sizes might be off and they are a kijillion years old so not terribly warm or comfortable. This is a good time to start looking in secondhand shops for something suitable as the school books skating time for all classes most every year.
- It is 'zipped up' coat and mitten/ glove season. Please practice with them at home.
- Please remember to label all outdoor items as best you can.
- Scholastic flyers are available here. All Scholastic orders can be done online whenever you like. Our class code is RC210022.
- Please have Team Awesome read any little paper books that come home (approximately 1 per week) multiple times for practice/ fluency. Thank you.
- Sight words we are learning in class: at, and, do, from, go, he, she, stop. Please feel free to practice together at home.
- Newsletters are paperless and can be found on the BEST website at best.sd73.bc.ca.
- If your child is exhibiting illness symptoms of any kind they must be kept home. Thank you.
