- Please send library books back in their special bag by next Monday for exchange.
- January Family projects are due back when finished. Enjoy!
- Please return skating permission forms ASAP. We will need parent helpers for our skating trips to put on and tie up skates. Adults are also welcome to skate. Please don't forget a helmet for yourself and your child.
- PAC is doing a pepperoni & cheese fundraiser on Tuesday, Jan. 23. Orders are due no later than Monday, Jan. 22.
- February lunch orders went home and are due to the office by Wednesday, Jan. 24.
- Saturday, Jan. 20 to Saturday, Jan. 28 is Unplug And Play Week. The City of Kamloops will provide a variety of activities for families to participate in. Activities at BEST has been posted.
- Kindergarten registration will take place Jan. 22nd - 26th. Please note that all students entering Kindergarten (including those with siblings) are required to submit a registration form by 12 noon on Jan. 26th. Only students who submit registrations on time will be entered into the registration lottery. Visit the school office during registration week to complete your application.
- Wednesday, Jan. 24 we will be skating at 10:15 at McArthur Park Arena. Please ensure your child has both skates and a helmet. See you there!
- PAC is having a pizza lunch on Friday, Feb. 9. Orders are due back by Monday, Jan. 29.

- Please have Team Awesome read any little paper books that come home (approximately 1 per week) multiple times for practice/ fluency. Thank you.
- Sight words we are learning in class: but, friend, give, good, in, look, up, see, want. Please feel free to practice together at home.
- Newsletters are paperless and can be found on the BEST website at best.sd73.bc.ca.
- If your child is exhibiting illness symptoms of any kind they must be kept home. Thank you.
