It has been a crazy start to the 2015 year with all the nasty, nutty weather. After a green Christmas who would have thought we would get so much snow in so few days? Not one but two snow days?! A first in the history of SD 73. I am sure Team Awesome, and you, are ready to get the party started!
- Unfortunately I have an appointment tomorrow morning and won't be there to greet the children their first day back. I will be at school for the afternoon and Mrs. Unsworth and a substitute teacher will have Team Awesome for the morning.
- A number of items have been hanging out on our coat shelf in the hall- random single socks and mittens. As they have not been claimed I have put them into the Lost and Found.
- I managed to get the last photos off my now-defunct camera and post the video Jolly Gingerbread yesterday. Santa brought me a new camera (Yay!) so I will be able to continue to post pictures and videos of the mischief Team Awesome gets up to once I figure out how to operate it.
- Mrs. Farber and I would like to host an unscheduled Fresh Air Friday this Friday afternoon. As it is unusual to have so much snow, we would like to take advantage of it while it is still fresh and fluffy and take the kids sledding. The spot we frequent by the river has a hill we think would make for great tobogganing. The children have to come dressed appropriately and bring a sled if they have one.
