Our first full week finished- and none too soon. Team Awesome was tired today, rightly so, and deserves a weekend at home after all the activities we did this week. They have been an awesome group so far and I am excited about all the fun things we are going to do this year!

- Shaye shared a rainbow loom bracelet and Emilia showed us her Minnie Mouse purse.
- We have field trips on Oct. 10 (permission due Mon. Oct. 6 with $5) and Oct. 22 (permission due Fri. Oct. 10). All walking permission forms have been returned! Yay! Both trips require parent helpers so let me know if you are able to come and help out.
- Early dismissal (12:30) Wednesday Oct. 8 and Thursday Oct. 9.
- Scholastic book orders, if you wish to purchase books, are due Wednesday Oct.8.
- Coupon books and/or orders are due Friday Oct. 10.
- Family Projects are due Tuesday Oct. 14 or as they are finished.
- Buddy Bags came home today with three children- there is info inside the front cover of the journal.
- If you have not paid for school supplies ($40), they are past due. Please send to the office.
- Our first fire drill went as well as could be expected today. We will have two more this fall.
- Your child is welcome to leave a water bottle on the back counter of our classroom to cut down on trips to the water fountain.
- Cold season is here and there was snot flying today (it was as icky as the picture you just got in your head). Tissue is not covered in school supplies fees so if all students would bring in one box of tissue we should be covered for the year. Please.
