Boy, did we rock all the fun stuff this week! And a jammy-licious day to top it all off. Team Awesome was great and not only did we thoroughly enjoy all the activities between recess and lunch today but the time spent together before our two week separation was a tad emotional as some of them realized exactly how long the separation would be. Its sweet how the thought of being apart for a short time makes them appreciate their friends all the more.

- We will sneak into the library on Tuesday, Jan. 3 to check out new books.
- A reminder that we return to school after the holidays on Tuesday, Jan. 3.
- PAC pizza orders are due to the office by Tuesday, Jan. 3.
- PAC Pizza lunch day is Friday, Jan. 6 for those students who ordered.
- Thursday, Jan. 13 will be our first skating morning. Permission slips will come home the first week back to school.
- Friday, Jan. 13 January Family Projects are due (or whenever they are finished). They went home on Tuesday.
- Friday, Jan. 13 and Friday, Jan. 27 are both possible Fresh Air Fridays. We have not yet determined which one will see us walking to the river as it will depend on the weather. We also like to take the children sledding for a January FAF so our fingers are crossed we will have enough snow. I will notify you closer to the date.
- We are on our last box of tissues. If you could send a box we would very much appreciate it.
- Please practice zipping coats at home and putting on snowpants/ boots/gloves/mittens too.
- We will review December sight words our first week back as it was a short month. They are: but, friend, give, good, in, look, up, want. If a word comes up repeatedly in our studies we will sometimes add it to our words for the month. Please feel free to practice them at home.
