​I hope this post finds you and your loved ones healthy. Just a few things.
1. Here is the link to this week's Weekly Home Learning Plan:

2. You will notice a new learning opportunity.... Headsprout!!  Headsprout is an awesome kids' reading program with self paced phonics and comprehension skills lessons.

Step 1: Go to www.headsprout.com
Step 2: Enter or choose the teacher's username: BEteamawesome
Step 3: Find your child's username on the class chart
Step 4: Enter your child's password which you can contact me for if you have forgotten
Step 5: Once logged in, click on the green parent button at the top right of the screen and enter your email address if you wish to view reports of your child's progress.
Step 6: Your child will do the Initial Placement assessment. Once completed, this will determine your child's independent reading abilities and begin their learning at a reading level best suited to them. Please do not help them with the assessment. Let them do it independently.
**It would be beneficial for students to do at least two sessions of Headsprout a week. Each session takes approx 15-25 minutes. 

3. Mrs. Farber and I have been adding to and tweeking the BEST Kindergarten website to make it a valuable resource for you. Check it out regularly for options to add to your child's home learning, to access the learning plans, sign up for Zoom meetings or just for interest.

4. This week I am setting up small group Zoom meetings for the children to do Sharing Time with a few of their classmates. Please sign up for a time on Thursday so your child can participate. Sign Up Sheet here:
